In 2016 Penguin teamed up with Ben Kolozsi for a new version of Choice playing cards. Simply called "Blue Choice" they were a hit! They sold out quickly and these days the originals sell for high rates on eBay. We have constantly gotten requests from magicians, cardists, and collectors from around the world to print a new version.
In creating the new edition, we didn't want to just change the color - we wanted to make the deck perfect. It was already close, but we've tweaked the design to be perfectly symmetrical, and to blend the various elements together even more seamlessly. This tribute to one of the most popular and hard-to-find deck designs is better than ever.
We tested a lot of colors, and at the end of the day red felt like the most appropriate followup to the Blue deck. We're printing Cloverbacks in a Classic Red Pantone that will be familiar to all lovers of playing cards.
